of March 3 last, and your telegram to Tokyo

No. 288 of March 25, on the subject of imports

of muniti¬ns into China, I have the honour to

forward herewith a table giving particulars of

some recent large individual importations into

this country of munitions from France, Germany

and Italy. These particulura were taken from

the original import applications lent to me

in the strictest confidence by the Financial

Secretary to the Customa.
